Start Before You are Ready!

It’s always a pleasure to look back and reflect …

Sometimes you keep procrastinating on the things that you really want to do.

You wait for that perfect moment when everything seems just right to launch that idea that you have been thinking about every single day!

And guess what.. that day never comes …

‘Coz you are never fully prepared !!

I remember back in college days, the amount of portion we could cover just one month before the final exams, we could never do that the entire year…

Unless that deadline and accountability are there, somehow we humans don’t end up taking action.

This is exactly what happened to me when I launched my workshop.

My first Offline Workshop – The  Dental Marketing Makeover Workshop, that happened on 8th March (after a few Online  Workshops )which was Women’s Day was not something that I had planned…

 Aarti Daswani, my friend had just launched her Academy, and we were to do it at her clinic, but we both were pleasantly surprised with the response we got.

We were forced to do it at the new bigger venue and needless to say, I was scared inside…

But took the courage and the opportunity and as Marie Forleo says..  “ start before you are ready ! “ in her book #everythingisfigureoutable, took the plunge!!

The dates and fliers were out, the venue booked, I had a deadline in front of me & I had to put in the work. At times I would sit through the night after putting kids to bed, still wake up early to send them to school, make the content, collate all the information and knowledge I had gathered, and experimented over the past 24 months…

But I’m so glad I did this…

The response was overwhelming…

We got full before the early bird and had to book a larger venue!

The workshop was a huge success and the icing on the cake was the special Women’s Day celebrations and our lovely chief guest Dr. Sandesh Mayekar.

P.S – I was supposed to take more time to prepare and do this in the second or third week of March but didn’t get the dates, and now I’m so glad…

Coz  #corona would have made sure, it didn’t see the light of the day!!.

My takeaway – 

“ Start before you are ready!”

You can never learn pushups by watching a video…

You need to DO the pushups to get any results…

You learn by DOING…

You learn by Showing up…

Every single day…

Whether it’s posting on social media…

Or Marketing!

You make a START…

And you will improve along the way !!
